I disabled my windows firewall and installed a 3rd party firewall (Zone Alarm). A few minutes later I went back to my home page and logged in again and it worked. I have tried safe mode with networking as suggested by many of you guys out there and even tried the Microsoft troubleshooting, but nothing has worked for me so far. I tried the last suggestion but when I got to the DNS client it would not come up. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. I connected to my wireless router, but as some of you here, IE did not work. I will get domain and web hosting.
And the best thing is your solution has nothing to do with the command bar on a website - since I was dealing with internet disconnection problem. I took my PC to work and all the websites seems to work from there using their internet connection. Thank you so much!!
