We can't seem to reset this but we are not techies so maybe we are missing or not doing something properly to reset/overide the bad 169 IP? Reason i say it is a problem with one of my computers, is i am able to connect to the same internet with 4 other computers wirelessly. After running a diagnosis, I found this: Windows can't communicate with the device or resource (Primary DNS server). Where do you see the 169 IP address?

Reply from 192.168.0.3: Destination host unreachable. I also did a hard reset of the laptop, router, and modem. I connected my laptop via her router and everything was fine.

I should also add I checked my router logs and while experimenting this evening with Virgin Media's DNS 194.168.4.100, I noticed this had been flagged in the Firewall logs on port I have re-set the TCP/IP stack and have also tried ipconfig /release and /renew - none of which seems to have made any difference.
