Accepting downloaded transactions from my brokerage firm takes 5-10 seconds for each transaction and response to keyboard and mouse input seems to hang at times.
I tried backing up to my C drive, but that no longer works, either. When I ran Quicken 2000 I was able to back it up on a CD-RW. This site is completely free -- paid for by advertisers and donations. Tried to login to my Quicken Online Backup account using a web browser.

After the Copy is complete, choose to Open New Copy. You should be able to back up to a Floppy or CD, however.

It did not let me start off where I left off. After numerous phone to resolve the over 1000 records lost when updating to the new version and the responses I received from support staff I returned the product. Perhaps you had an external drive or a CD drive selected? Was unable to access my account for many months and so opened an account with Mint which is the same company.
When using Windows I could not wait to give them the money when a new version came out... If you receive the message "Damaged data block" in the Data_Log after the Validation completes, the file is not repairable.
