One of the answers solved my problem of installing a second SATA HDD and it not showing as a lettered drive. But, instead of right-clicking on the square on the left that describes the drive, I right-clicked on the wide text box to the right of it. Sometimes that fixes weird problems like this. the issue is with new one its not showing the second partition of my external HDD, all other 4 partitions are working ok.
